Dr. R. B. Singh Gaya Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in
1967 by visionary Dr. Ram Balak Singh, a veteran Homoeopath who after this formal education in
Homoeopathy established this college to offer more avenues and opportunity of education in
Classical Homoeopathy. His interest borne fruit by establishement of GHMCH in the natural
surrounding on the bank of river NIRANJANA, place well known as Amawan very much adjacent to the
district headquarter of Gaya district of Bihar. Amawan is located by the side of Bodh-Gaya a
place of enlightenment for the Lord Buddha.
Dr. RBSGHMCH is Governed by a society registered under the society registeration act and now
recognized by the Central council of homoeopathy, New Delhi. It is also permitted by the
Department of AYUSH, ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and Affiliated to
the BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. In its long journey it is successfully developed
as a unique institution involved in imparting knowledge through research and teaching in
Homoeopathy by experienced academically qualified faculty members with ultra modern teaching
aids. The clinical teaching is unqiue through its OPD and IPD where large number of patients
visit for treatment. The college portfolio of long term programme is diverse catering to the
requirement of aspiring students for developing their career in the diverse sector of
Homoeopathy.
Dr. RBSGHMCH is located at Amwan very close to BodhGaya in Gaya District of Bihar. It is well connected by road and railway and Airways both from Patna, capital of Bihar and at Bodh Gaya itself. College has its own building with decent fittings and fixtures. There are separate block for each department. College campus is busy with activities throughout the day and night with Students and Faculty members interacting and busy clinic in Hospital wards. It provides an inspiring environment for all.
College department are well equipped with laboratory instruments, models and other teaching aid materials. Departments are spacious enough to provide a very cordial environment for study and learning.
